vacation

it really was rather wonderful. 'Up North' with the four of us for the week: running, biking, pooling, reading, coloring, eating....you get the idea.
then we capped things off at "grandpa's new lakehouse" on the big lake.

and now we have a frost warning (which I'm not complaining about. just making the comparison.) and all of a sudden we're deep into sweatshirts, football, and the 'oops we might have over-scheduled ourselves' fall.
